Many of us don't get enough protein in our diet which really affects our energy level, muscle mass and mental health.
Here's an easy "milkshake" recipe that's a winner in our house with littles and grown-ups!
Ingredients:
1 scoop of protein powder or 2-3 tbsp hemp hearts
1 banana
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 cup of milk (non-dairy milk is great!)
Optional: add 1-2 ice cubes for a thicker consistency
Blend together in blender or nutri-bullet. These are also great frozen in popsicle containers as fudgesicles!
