Easy protein chocolate milkshake

Many of us don't get enough protein in our diet which really affects our energy level, muscle mass and mental health.

Here's an easy "milkshake" recipe that's a winner in our house with littles and grown-ups!


  • 1 scoop of protein powder or 2-3 tbsp hemp hearts

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 cup of milk (non-dairy milk is great!)

  • Optional: add 1-2 ice cubes for a thicker consistency

Blend together in blender or nutri-bullet. These are also great frozen in popsicle containers as fudgesicles!
