1/4 c melted and browned butter

1/2 c corn syrup

1/4 c Pure Muskoka Maple Syrup

3 eggs lightly beaten

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp shaved dark chocolate

pinch of salt


1 1/4 c pecan halves lightly toasted


1 pie shell



Toast the pecan halves in the oven while browning the butter on the stove. Keep stove pre-heating at 325F. Remove butter from stove and mix with all other ingredients except pecans. Line bottom of pie shell with pecans and pour wet mixture on top of pecans. Bake for 30-40 mins until filling is set but slightly soft in the centre.
